Raya Store is more than just a collection of high-quality, all-natural, thyme-based products. We’re part of a wider movement to strengthen unrecognised villages in the Negev desert.

All products we sell are grown, picked and crafted by Bedouin women – expertly trained in all aspects of thyme cultivation. They’re part of a local cooperative, meaning all profits are shared between members to support their families and communities.

Why thyme? This popular herb flourishes in the harsh desert environment, with a rich history in local foods, alternative medicine and even skincare products.

Part of the Sidreh Organization:
Raya is part of the Sidreh Organization – a non-profit founded in 1998 to support Palestinian-Bedouin women in the Naqab. Sidreh aims to improve education, enhance economic resilience and advance gender equality.
